PSY, Snoop Dogg to Debut 'Hangover' June 8

June 2, 2014

Just after his video for "Gangnam Style" surpassed the two billion views mark, PSY has announced rollout plans for a brand new single featuring none other than Snoop Dogg.

The new song is called "Hangover" and fans will get their first taste of it June 8, on a special prime time airing of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" following the NBA Finals. Airing at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, both Psy and Snoop Dogg will appear on the episode to debut a clip from the new track's music video. Right after the show ends, the full video will be posted on PSY's YouTube channel and the website of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

"Hangover" hits digital retailers June 9 via School Boy Records/Republic Records.

A press release calls the song a "party anthem" and says its music video will be "raucous."

Back in January, a report from PSY's Korean label YG Entertainment announced that he had been working with Snoop on a new music video, in addition to K-pop star G-Dragon. They leaked the above photo, which shows the pair posing alongside a pool table.

Last Friday, "Gangnam Style" officially became the first music video in YouTube's history to hit two billion plays.

"2 billion views...they are very honorable and very burdensome numbers," PSY said via a statement. "With appreciation, I will come back soon with more joyful contents!!"

The track spent seven weeks at No. 2 on the Hot 100.
